Joseph
P. Flood, Jr. is the Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Benefit
Planning, Inc. Joe has been in the financial services business for
over 35 years. During that time he has been successful in a variety of
roles: agent, agency supervisor, general agent and director of agencies for
a large eastern mutual insurance company.
Benefit Planning Incorporated (BPI) was formed in 1988 to provide
comprehensive professional services to assist business owners, professionals
and executives in decisions concerning a variety of personal and business
investments and insurance planning issues.
Joe's most recent focus is assisting corporate clients by partnering with
CPA's in the greater Baltimore-Washington corridor. He assists the CPA
with business valuations, ownership issues and business continuation
planning. Joe is also a registered representative with Equity
Services, Inc.
Joe Flood has been very active professionally. He has held several
Industry Committee responsibilities. In the mid 1970's, Joe held
various subcommittee chairmanship on Quality Business for LIMRA, Hartford,
Conn. as well as speaker at LIMRA Regional meetings. In 1983, he was
elected to The Board of Directors of The Baltimore Chapter of GAMA, and in
1984 he was elected to a 2 year term of BLUA Board of Directors. Joe
also served a 2 year term on Board of Directors of Baltimore-Washington
Corridor Chamber of Commerce.
